Columbia Avionics, Inc. has obtained MK-VIII EGPWS and TCAS-4000 STC's for Hawker -400 and -600 aircraft.

Columbia Avionics, Inc. has obtained two FAA Supplemental Type Certificates for the Hawker -400 and -600 Series Aircraft.  The first STC is for the Honeywell MK-VIII EGPWS and the second STC is for the Collins TCAS-4000 TCAS-II System. The certification also includes an optional Avidyne Flight Max 800 MFD.

The TCAS II  installation includes a Collins TTR-4000 TCAS computer, dual Collins TVI-920D IVSI/TCAS displays, and dual Collins TDR-94D mode-S transponders. The TCAS system includes TCAS Change 7 Software.

The Honeywell MK-VIII EGPWS system meets the upcoming FAA mandate that requires all turbine powered aircraft to have a TAWS system installed by March, 2005.

Both the Collins TCAS and the MK-VIII EGPWS are displayed on the Avidyne Flight Max 800 MFD. The Avidyne Flight Max 800 MFD is a new product that is certified for installation in Part 25 aircraft. The MFD will also interface with a Collins WXR-270 and WXR-300 radar system.
